Cardea Organic Pomegranate Oil Review

Hi Readers I know it's been I while since I have done a post but today i'm going to bring a review for a pretty great product called Cardeas Organic Pomegranate Oil which by what they say on their website happen to be the first organic pomegranate oil in Australia (that's just a little fun fact for you.) I have been using this for about 2 months and I love the lasting moisture it has provided for my skin but more specifically my shoulder area because thats were I sadly have some stretch marks and like I said it has truly helped in the moisture department and even slightly helped with the stretch marks appearance making them less red and obvious and I think it may be helping them heal essentially. The only downside is its nauseating scent but hey that can be easily fixed if you mix it with your favorite lotion. Overall it great with giving moisture and helping inflammation of the skin.

Ingredients: 100% organic pomegranate oil

Cost: $67.49 for 100 ML bottle their are other sizes on the website

Suti Organic Peppermint Facial Toner

Suti's Organic Peppermint Facial Toner is perfect for refreshing in the hot weather this summer . The way it sprays is really nice it's like a light mist but it doesn't go all over the face evenly so I just use a cotton round or cotton puffs to lightly pat into my face. when I apply it on my face I feel a nice cooling sensation that calmed my skin and the peppermint scent it self had a soothing effect. The packaging of the water toner is amazing it conveys fresh, modern and slight femininity all in one to add to that the bottle is made of glass so it's got a touch of eco-friendliness to it as well.

Ingredients: Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Water

Cost: $34

Where Did I Get It: Received it from Suti for an honest review.

Would I Recommend It:Yes

Were You Can Get It : Beautyhabit,Shen-Beauty,Spirit, Beauty Lounge

Summer Fave: Eco Sunglasses

Summer is in full blast and I thought it would be a perfect time to tell you about some great eco-friendly and philanthropic sunglasses that have caught my eyes either because of their unique style or the charities they support.

Stella McCartney's eco-friendly line of sunglasses are made with renewable and natural resources such as castor seed oil, citric acid and refined meatals.

Proof Sunglasses are handmade and made from sustainable wood source and strive to make stylish sunglasses that do good so a lot of the profits they make go to charities that restore the sights for those who can't afford it and reforestation projects.
Westward Leaning are handmade with Mazuchelli acetate and the design of each sunglasses is based on the social cause/achievements of people and each of the sunglasses have a charity they support.

Water Fluoridation

Hey I have found some quite shocking info that is ...... the fluoridation of public tap water. small amounts of it have been put in water since 1945 as a way to prevent tooth decay but a lot people argue against it because who knows what the true effects are with the addition of fluoride that is commonly put in traditional toothpaste and these so-called small amounts are surely probably not adequate for young children who are still developing. It's hard to live a healthy life style when every which way the government seems to undermine my attempts. Know my search begins to find a water filter that removes most if not all harmful substances as well as fluoride. below is a video on water fluoridation also I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!

Reasons To Go Organic! Part 2

Image

I found this infographic with the other one and it shocking as well because you would think the FDA would at least try to do it's job and protect us from toxic chemicals but it seems their quite laissez faire about whats put in are food. This leaves consumers to do the research to find foods and products that are health and non-toxic.Organic will always be the best choice even if its is a little pricey because why waste money food and products that will only poison you.

Hydros Reusable Filtering Water Bottles

Hydros Reusable Filtering Water Bottles can save the environment and at the same time help bring clean water to those in great need of it (people in remote and underdeveloped parts of the world).  I know it has a filters chlorine, chloramine, and particulates but I want to know at what degree does it filter them so I may ask the company about this before purchasing.

Reasons To Go Organic!

Recently I saw this infographic on pinterest and it really wasn't completely shocked because I am aware of the overload of chemicals in beauty products but I was a little shaken when I saw that there is a synthetic formaldehyde in hair relaxer because I'm no stranger to a good perm, it makes me so happy that I now have braids so don't have to be exposed to such a dangerous chemical.

Also here's a video from The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics on the dangers of beauty products.
